We were psyched to be asked by BtoB Magazine to weigh in on great B2B site design! The article was published in this week’s issue and is available here.

We chose 3 of our favorite sites: Getty Images, Harvest, and Plyboo for our submission. I was surprised at how difficult it was to find B2B sites that are really pushing the envelope in terms of design and user experience. There’s still a lot of stodgy old non-user-focused stuff out there… You’d think that the message would be loud and clear that you need to speak to site users in their language and in terms of their needs and objectives. Not so, apparently. But there is a strong movement towards sites that are simple, direct, and accessible. 37Signals can claim much credit for this – many of the good B2B sites we found are clearly emulating the 37S design and messaging vibe.
